We pastors have a knack for making ministry complicated. We so often think in the terms of big programs and events. However, I often remind myself and remind the members of Life Church in Conyers Georgia that the most effective ministry often occurs as we live out routines of everyday.

In this video I want to tell you a story of how a simple act grew into something greater.

That seemingly simple invitation grew

  • Into relationships
  • Food provided for those in need
  • The sharing of a Bible — God’s Word with one person
  • The sharing of God’s word with around 20 other people

Ministry and sharing our faith really is not complicated. Often it is just a small seed. An invitation, a word of encouragement or a word of hope. But then the Holy Spirit gets a hold of it and it grows into something wonderful

Often our greatest opportunities for ministry show up in simple acts of kindness
